User Data Deletion Instructions

Sellinger ("Sellinger," "we," "us," or "our") lets businesses connect their Facebook and Instagram Pages so they can manage customer messages and comments from one place. We connect to these Pages through the Meta Graph API, using the permissions you grant during Facebook Login for Business. This page explains what data we store and how you can have it deleted.

1. What Platform Data We Store

When you connect a Facebook or Instagram Page to Sellinger, we may store the following Platform Data received from Meta:

  • Page conversations and messages exchanged between the connected Page and its customers (Messenger and Instagram Direct).
  • Comments left on the connected Page's posts, and the replies sent to them.
  • Page metadata such as the Page ID, Page name, and the access tokens required to send and receive messages on the Page's behalf.
  • The basic profile information of the person who connects the Page (name and the Pages they manage), returned by Meta so you can choose which Page to connect.

We do not store your Facebook or Instagram login credentials. Authentication is handled entirely by Meta.

2. How to Delete Your Data

Step 1 — Disconnect the Facebook Page in Sellinger

Log in to Sellinger and go to Channels → Facebook, then choose disconnect for the Page you want to remove. Disconnecting revokes Sellinger's access to that Page and stops any further data from being received from Meta.

Step 2 — Email a deletion request

To have the stored data permanently deleted, email a deletion request to hello@sellinger.ai from the email address associated with your account, and include the name of the connected Facebook or Instagram Page. We will delete the Platform Data associated with your Page(s) within 30 days of receiving your request.

3. Removing Sellinger From Your Facebook Settings

You can also revoke Sellinger's access directly from Facebook at any time: open Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, select Sellinger, and choose Remove. This stops Sellinger from accessing your Pages. To also delete the data we have already stored, follow Step 2 above.
